St. Paul's Episcopal Church

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is an Episcopal place of worship in Cleveland Heights, built with English Gothic architectural style and standing at the intersection of Fairmount and Coventry roads. The structure features a 125-foot tower and uses sandstone construction throughout, creating a distinct landmark with period details.

The congregation started in 1846 at American House Hotel with a small group of members before the community expanded eastward. A major move brought the church to its current Cleveland Heights location in 1928 to serve the growing population in the area.

The church maintains the N.B. White Gallery, presenting art exhibitions that connect the congregation with local artists through regular showcases.

The church offers three services on Sunday mornings plus a Wednesday evening gathering for those with different schedules. The building includes Tucker Hall for community events and a preschool wing, making it a venue for various activities beyond regular worship.

Two musicians from the Cleveland Museum of Art, Walter Blodgett and Karel Paukert, both served as organists and choirmasters at the church at different times. Their connection brought professional musical expertise to the congregation and helped shape the church's musical life.
