Musée de Semur-en-Auxois prezentuje dzieła sztuki, znaleziska archeologiczne i średniowieczne rzeźby na trzech piętrach dawnego klasztoru Jakobinów.
Muzeum powstało ze szkoły rysunku i rzeźby założonej w 1833 roku, z Étienne Bouhot jako pierwszym dyrektorem, który zebrał początkowe dzieła od zaprzyjaźnionych artystów.
Kolekcja obejmuje obrazy od XV do XX wieku autorstwa artystów takich jak Vignon, Corot, Boilly oraz oryginalne odlewy z pracowni Augustina Dumonta.
Muzeum jest czynne od środy do piątku w godzinach 14:00-18:00, a w soboty od 9:00 do 12:00 i 14:00-18:00, bilet wstępu kosztuje 4 euro.
Muzeum posiada uznaną międzynarodowo kolekcję geologiczną liczącą 10.000 okazów, w tym liczne amonity odkryte w regionie Semur.
